There's a lot happening on the morning of the race to prepare for a great experience for all runners. We would be extremely grateful if you can help out, especially if you can get there early to help with set up.
Did you know that volunteering counts for one of your six races for the purposes of the Points Series? You can even volunteer AND run on the same day. And if you volunteer at all the races, you will qualify for a "bleedin' lot!" t-shirt at the end of the series.

If you would like to be on the committee, or if you would like to nominate someone, do make sure you get your nomination in by 28th August.
Even if you do not wish to be on the committee, I would urge all members to come down to the Annual General Meeting on Monday 4th September 2017 at 7pm. The meeting is being held at the Arena Sports Club, Yagoona (entry off Boardman St). This is a great opportunity for you to have your say, get involved, and find out what goes on behind the scenes to enable all of us to enjoy the great experience that is the SMC Road Race Series. Do not take this series for granted. It can only happen when our wonderful running community gets together and makes it happen.
