As the restrictions on outside gatherings remain, we are unable to continue with our race series this season. Our scheduled April and May races day are cancelled. Thank you to all our volunteers and runners.
Our awards night is scheduled for 1 August but it is looking unlikely that it can go ahead.
In deciding on the awards, we shall be taking account the shortened season. More details will be available at a later date.
If you have purchased a race pack and have one or two unused races, please contact us.
Next season is scheduled to start on 20 September 2020.

SMC Road Race Series will resume on 22nd September 2019. Registration and membership fees will be the same as last season.
Some things have changed though.
We strongly encourage on line entry for our races, and will be re-introducing the $5.00 surcharge for entry on the day. If you really can't enter on line then contact us and we will see if we can arrange something.
You will only be able to enter on the day if your details are already in our database for the current season, which means that you must already be a member or have registered for a previous race (in the same season).
Replacement bibs will incur a charge of $2.00.
On line entry will close at 6:00pm, NOT 7:00pm as previously, on the Saturday before the race.
The 2 km kids race is for age 12 years and under. Parents are welcome to run with the kids, but will not get a time. The 2 km will start a little earlier, at approx 7:25 am, so that parents can run with their kids and finish in time to run in the 5km or 10km if they wish.

Correction: An earlier edition of this noted stated that the meeting would be held at the "Orion Sports Club." This has now been corrected. We apologise for the error.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to members that the 2019 Annual General Meeting of the SMC Road Race Series Incorporated will be held at the Arena Sports Club, Yagoona, on Tuesday 6th August 2019, at 7:00 pm.
Business.
- To confirm the minutes of the 2018 Annual General Meeting.
- To receive and consider the committee reports.
- To receive and consider the Treasurer’s report.
- General Business.
- To consider and, if thought fit, adopt the proposed new constitution, details of which can be obtained from the committee on request.
Nominations for committee positions should be sent to the secretary by C.O.B. 30th July 2019, stating the name of the nominee, the position applied for, The proposer and seconder, and the agreement of the nominee to stand.
The elections will be by secret ballot at the meeting and the nominee should be present.
If there is no prior nomination then nominations may be accepted from the floor of the meeting.
If there is only one nomination then that person will be declared automatically elected.
